Loopback adapter issues

Whenever I'm trying to run SoulMS, it starts creating tons of loopback adapters, instead of just creating one. Then, when I'm logging in, it opens the MS launcher, and it tells me, a few minutes later, that the installation has failed and I should make sure I'm running it as an admin.

The thing is : I'm running it as an admin.

Anyone has a fix ? (I'm running WinXP SP2, 32 bits)

Try this:
1. Go to Control Panel -> Device Manager
2. In the network adaptor section look for loopback
3. remove extras till theres one left

ps. not sure if this will work, I'm using Vista and I'm lagging like hell

Nah, it doesn't matter the number of loopback adapters there are when I start the launcher, it will still create shitloads of them.

Right click + edit SoulFix.bat

make sure that this is what you have

KILLTASK Maplestory.exe
SET locat1="D:\GMSv88"
COPY HSUpdate.exe %locat1%\HShield


does it work now?
