SoulMS.exe has stopped working.

These past two days since I discovered SoulMS have been rather difficult.

First and foremost, my OS is W7

I've followed procedure to the 'T' thus far. Installing v88 and extracting HS and the client into my folder. After reading through dozens of guides are redownloading/reinstalling 10 times, I have no luck.

Every time I attempt to run the SoulMS client, Windows immediately notifies me that "SoulMS has stopped working"

I've been running as administrator and re-extracting the client every time I run it. Also, HSUpdate is in the HS folder.

Means you didnt dl soulms right or the v88 you have is messed

Actually, that's not what it means at all.

You my friend are running on .Net 4.0
The client is coded in .Net 3.5

Naturally this means they arn't compatible.

However, I have found a method to force your pc into running it in .Net 3.5
(Which is what I use to run Soul.)

I wrote this from my iTouch, so I'll release the fix in an hour or so.

Im running .net 4.0 and windows 7 and everything works fine, put hsupdate and soulms.exe in the same main folder

There are other factors involved.
For some people it works for others it doesn't.

Btw - if you're missing HSUpdate the client will return a message.
Also most clients don't check for HSUpdate before the form/program opens.
It won't just stop running because of HSUpdate <3

Ts - Were you referring to the HSUpdate that exists in the HShield folder?
The version you extract should go in the same folder as MapleStory.exe
