Help!! Keep Getting Error Code: 10093

everything i played it work good n everything but after a couple of minutes in the game i get d/c n a window wit this msg pops out

error code: 10093 (Either the application has not called WSAStartup,or WSAStartup failed)

wat does dat mean? how can i fix it?

What version of windows are you running?(Vista/Windows 7 or Windows XP)

If you're running Windows XP, do this:

1 - Download this program: WinSockFix
2 - Run the program you have just downloaded. (WinSockFix)
3 - Click the button named "Fix".
4 - Restart your computer.

If you're running Windows Vista/Windows 7, do this:

1 - Press this key combination: Windows Key + R. (Windows key is usualy found in between the "ALT-key" and the "CTRL-key"
2 - Type in "cmd", DO NOT PRESS ENTER, instead press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER. (This will run cmd in admin mode)
3 - Type in "netsh winsock reset"
4 - Restart your computer.

i get this error code now

error code: -2147024858 (Teached the end of the file.)

That Error means that you have a missing file.

Possible solutions:

1- You have not put the SoulMS client in there. (Follow this tutorial: Tutorial)

2- Try reinstalling MapleStory V88 (not downloading) and see if you still get the error.

3- If the error still occurs, after step 2, redownload MapleStory V88 (preferable from a different location then your previous installation download) and reinstall MapleStory V88.

This is a socket error. Some sort of software or protection is stopping the socket from being used. Disable all anti-viruses and firewalls and stop/uninstall all unnecessary programs like Skype and Teamviewer.
