Problem installing the Maplestory v88 Installer.

Well, my boyfriend downloaded the Maplestory v88 installer and tried installing it but it'd stop half way with an error saying something like error code= -40, and then it would just close.

How can he fix it? I tried sending him different links to download v88 but it still does the same thing, and I have no idea what to do.

Please help! Thanks. My boyfriends frustration and anger is making me frustrated too. ~_~

check if he has enough room in his C:drive.
Also, just in case, tell him to turn off firewall
