| It maxes out the number of skill points that you can put into a skill. For all 4th job and some other skills, you can only put a certain amount of skill points into it, i.e. 10, but the master level is 30. That means that you must obtain and use Mastery Books to raise that level. However, Max Mastery means that you don't have to do that. Hope that helped  | |
