1. You have no proof, noone can help you. 2. Dont ask GMs for items under any circumstances. 3. Next time, ask a GM to watch over the whole process.

Actually, Im pretty sure there was another thread about this Flipover guy scamming someones gear through cubing. I think it was a +6 nisrock or something.
