Doesnt launch after 1st launch

So I got soul ms to work and it was working fine, then I dc'd and when I started it up again it nothing happened after I pressed play game on the launcher. I need to restart my computer to get it to work again, I tried ending the processes and starting it again but still nothing.

Any help would be great

Edit: After I restart my computer and start the game, same thing happens if I dc or I get the error 38; reached end of file.

Is Maplestory running in the background?
To check this, do: CTRL + ALT + DELETE, and check if you can see the process Maplestory running.

If it's still running, end the process and try again.

If it doesn't work again:
Download this fix:
(Only one of them, if you're not sure about what your operating systems bitsize is I suggest downloading the 32 bit.)
- 32 bit operating system
- 64 bit operating system

OR

Reinstall.
