On the SoulMS log in client Click settings and click the "..." button or as we know it the "Browse" button. And search for your Maplestory folder with the v88 Maplestory.exe program.

Your trying to connect to a shortcut, connect to the main v88 maplestory.exe client, not an internet application. It's gonna be more than 1 or 2 MB. It's gonna be your real maplestory folder with all your .wz files in there.

Rename your SoulMS folder to MapleStory, then it should work perfectly fine.

did you put your HSupdate.exe file in the hackshield map? try that if you didn't
